In 2001 the first riders in Tour de France began using
CeramicSpeed bearings.
The introduction was made by the founder of CeramicSpeed.
At that time the technology was new and people discussed if
ceramic bearings actually makes a difference. Today the technology
is well documented and the benefits of reduced friction, increased
stiffness and longer lifetime are widely accepted.
We estimate that in year 2010 50% of the teams in Tour de France
were using CeramicSpeed bearings.
CeramicSpeed bearings are handmade in Denmark. We control the
entire production process which ensures the highest possible
quality. We only work with high-end components and the best
available technologies. At CeramicSpeed we constantly seek
improvements to be the best producers of ceramic bearings
worldwide.
