Great success for CeramicSpeed at Tour of Denmark

CeramicSpeed had a very successful week at the Tour of Denmark with sponsored teams HTC-Columbia, Garmin-Transitions and Designa Køkken - BlueWater.

 

HTC-Columbia showed why they are to be considered as one of the World's best teams. 3 victories on 1st, 4th and 6th stage tells everything. They even managed to get two riders on the podium on 1st and 4th stage taking 3rd and 2nd respectively after their winning team mate.

 

Team Garmin-Transitions came to the race with one of the only guys in the peloton who can normally challenge HTC-Columbia in the sprints. But unfortunately Tyler Farrar continued the bad tendency from the Tour de France and suffered several crashes. Luckily for the team Svein Tuft won the 19km time trial on 5th stage (With a margin of 1/3 of a second!). In the general classification Tuft took an impressive 2nd place.

 

Our Danish sponsored team Designa Køkken - Blue Water also showed why they are considered one of the strongest Danish teams. Michael Reihs won the "Hill competition" with team mate Kasper Jebjerg in 3rd. Rasmus Guldhammer from HTC-Columbia is no doubt one of the most talented young riders in the peloton. Rasmus took home the "Best young rider" for the second year in a row.

 

Danish Martin Mortensen from Vacansoleil who we sponsor personally also showed his great potential finishing 4th in the general classification.
