Great Tour de France for CeramicSpeed
26. juli 2010
Yesterday the 2010 edition of the TdF ended with another great
victory for CeramicSpeed. Super sprinter Mark Cavendish took his
5th stage win - all on his CeramicSpeed upgraded bike. Besides
Cav's 5 wins we have seen so many great performances by
CeramicSpeed sponsored athletes that it is difficult to choose
which to bring out.
We sponsor Team THC-Columbia and Team Garmin-Transitions but
also supply bearing to a number of prominent riders from other
teams in the peloton. It's a bit paradoxical that the two teams we
officially sponsor are the two teams in the peloton who dislike
each other the most.
There is an extremely strong competition between the two
American teams. Early in the race Garmin-Trasitions lost their
overall contender Christian Vande Velde due to a crash. But in his
absence we saw a heroic fighting Ryder Hesjedal taking 7th overall.
This was certainly a performance to take note of! Wonder who will
be the GC captain on that team next year? During this TdF we also
saw CeramicSpeed in the headlines on cyclingnews.com as well as
numerous pics in different forums and TV clips from the broadcast
showing our products and logos.
We are already looking forward to the 2011 edition!
