Head of Sales, North America

CeramicSpeed is a leading high-end brand in the cycling industry. We have a strong brand and are continuously working to improve and strengthen our presence among cycling enthusiasts all over the world. We are now looking for a Head of Sales for North America to support our customers with first-class sales and customer service from our Americas division in the Boulder, Colorado office.

The position

As a Head of Sales, we expect you to work independently within a team-based, diverse, fast-paced environment. You will be expected to build and maintain professional relationships with outside sales reps, wholesale partners and individual customers all while holding responsibility for healthy growth targets/sales goals. As a leader in the Boulder Office, you are able to manage the flow of information between the local and global organizations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing annual strategic forecasts at a regional level with set actions to support achievement.
  • Direct management of a factory sales team and external sales group teams to maintain a high level of engagement for sales programming, product launches, and events.
  • Ownership of Key accounts and the distribution network for long-term growth strategies and direct revenue contribution.
  • Global cross-functional collaboration with HQ Sales, Marketing, and Product to own NA feedback and market advocacy.
  • Being part of the Boulder Office Management Team.

The Americas office is an autonomous team that works collaboratively with our parent company in Denmark; consistently coordinating and aligning with each other as well as our Danish colleagues to make sure no synergies are lost.

To be successful in this position, it is important that you enjoy and manage work independently within a collaborative framework. You are a self-starter, able to identify priorities inside of a task list. It is important that you pay attention to details and are open-minded and curious to seek out and collaborate to find solutions.

The position of Head of Sales North America reports directly to the Director of Sales in Denmark.

Your background

We expect that you have some of the following experience and/or skills:

  • Strategic sales and channel development skills with highly technical products.
  • Implementing a structured management style focused on professional growth and goal achievement.
  • Existing relationships with nationally recognized industry brands, retail shops, or e-commerce sites.
  • Comfortable with bicycle componentry
  • Ability to learn and understand digital tools, including but not limited to POS, ERP, and BI systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a non-exempt position with an annual base salary range of $95,000 – 120,000 year.
