Limited Lifetime Warranty
Lifetime Warranty
At CeramicSpeed we have supreme confidence in our products’ durability and ability to perform over time. We fully believe in our products, and we want our customers to do the same. This is why we cover our selected products with a Lifetime warranty.
1. What products are covered
This Lifetime warranty applies to the following products sold from 1 January 2021:
• Coated bearing products
• SLT bearing products
• ALPHA Disc Pulley Wheels
• OSPW cages
2. What ‘lifetime’ means
‘Lifetime’ means the product’s functional service life under normal use. The product is considered to have reached end-of-life when it can no longer be restored to safe, functional condition through normal service (e.g., bearing service/replacement of consumable parts) without replacement of the main product body.
3. What we cover
CeramicSpeed warrants Lifetime warranty products against defects in materials and workmanship and defects that hinder the functioning of the product, that occur under normal use.
4. Who is covered
Original purchaser (first owner) The Lifetime warranty is provided to the original purchaser, subject to registration and proof of purchase (see section 5).
Subsequent owners (second or later) Subsequent owners are entitled to a six (6) year warranty from the original retail purchase date, provided proof of original purchase can be presented to verify the start date.
5. Registration and proof of purchase
Proof of purchase (receipt/invoice) is mandatory for all claims. To access the Lifetime warranty as the original purchaser, you must register the product within 21 days of purchase.
If you did not register within 21 days, please still contact us. We may be able to help if you can provide proof of purchase and sufficient product identification, but we may need additional verification and processing time.
Registration is a condition for this Lifetime warranty and does not affect statutory rights that may apply.
6. What is not covered (Lifetime Warranty)
This Lifetime warranty does not cover failure or damage caused by:
• Normal wear and tear
• Lack of maintenance or neglect
• Misuse, abuse, inappropriate application, or use outside the intended purpose
• Tampering or unauthorised modification
• Incorrect installation or incorrect reinstallation
• Corrosion, contamination or deterioration caused by inadequate maintenance, inadequate cleaning, improper storage, or exposure inconsistent with CeramicSpeed guidance
• Crash, accident or impact damage, except that OSPW cages are covered for crash/impact damage unless the damage results from tampering, misuse, or improper installation
Note on corrosion: we see corrosion most often where maintenance has been insufficient. Corrosion caused by inadequate maintenance is not covered.
7. What we will do if your claim is covered
Upon confirmation that the issue is covered, we will repair the product or replace it with the same model or an equivalent product.
8. Returns, shipping and costs
If we need the product returned for inspection, we will provide return instructions after you submit your claim.
Shipping approach:
• After you submit your claim, we will confirm whether the product needs to be returned and provide return instructions.
• If a return is required, we will provide a return shipping label free of charge.
How we assess claims
Each claim is assessed on the information provided and (where required) inspection of the product. We always ask for photos, installation details and maintenance history to understand the issue.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, CeramicSpeed is not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of time, loss of income, or costs of procuring replacement products or services.
Legal rights
If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights against the seller if your product is faulty or not as described. Those statutory remedies are provided free of charge and are not affected by this Lifetime warranty.
